Are on a 1g dsm ignitor?

Maybe I'm not asking the right question. My original wiring harness is gone. I built my own harness, everything is wired up and working perfectly except the ignitor. The ignitor has a 12v source, tach and ground. But, what pins receive the A and B signal for the Coils? Lol whoops

If you wrote these down in order off the transistor...and I hope you did because I don't have one in front of me...

Oc1 and Oc2 are to your primary side of the coils (pins 1 and 8), ib1 and ib2 go to the ECU pins (pins 2 and 7 on the PT, pins 54 and 55 on the ECU), and vb is battery voltage (pin 6), tac is...wait for it...tachometer (pin 4), and gnd is ground (pin 3).

Here is the text version translated for you. Not sure about the pin names you mentioned but they seemed the pin out in reverse and actually do make sense with the pinout. I am assuming you have a 91+ PWT and Coil Pack.

PWT/PIN1 --(YB)--> OC2 / COIL PACK PIN1 (COIL 3 & 2 )
PWT/PIN2 --(YR)--> IB2 / ECU PIN55
PWT/PIN3 ---(B)--> GND
PWT/PIN4 ---(W)--> TAC / ECU PIN 109 / INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TAC
PWT/PIN5 (NOT USED)
PWT/PIN6 --(BW)--> VB / IGNITION 12V
PWT/PIN7 ---(Y)--> IB1 / ECU PIN54
PWT/PIN8 --(YG)--> OC1 / COIL PACK PIN2 (COIL 1 & 4) / ENGINE SPEDD ADJ CONNECTOR

YB = yellow/black
YR = yellow/red
B = black
W =white
BW =black/white
Y = yellow
YG = yellow/green

Yup that's it! Thanks ........appreciate the hell out of it.

I went to the factory service manual right away myself. It's a good thing too since the pin out described in that post actual swaps pin 4 a and 5 from TAC and not used to the other way around. I can't go and check on my car right now but I would assume that the service manual would have to be trusted...but yeah, I would say not too much search was involved! But hey, it takes time to learn how to search too, and sometimes there's a little twig that sticks out and bothers you so you feel the need of someone else's opinion.
