So I'm having a weirdish issue going on with my steering. I've looked through a lot of posts on the forum but nothing fits my symptoms exactly. So what is happening is that a few weeks ago I noticed my power steering was making a little noise. So like any good car guy, I went to the auto store and bought some fluid and filled it up. So things were fine for about a week or so. Now when I turn the wheel at low speeds it doesn't want to turn. I also hear a sound, which I can only describe as if you were to brush your fingers across some metal fins. If I'm going fast enough the car doesn't make a sound nor is it hard to turn. It also seems to be RPM related (which is why I think it's the ps pump) because it seems that if I rev a little the wheels will turn again, not freely but better than none. I don't hear any clicking sounds so I don't really think it's the CVs. I'm thinking it's the ps pump but I wanted to see what you guys thought.
