Power steering mod..screw up

I just completed the power steering cut out mod on my 95 Talon Tsi. When I assembled the pump, I overtightened the valve and stripped the threads, there is still a little threads left but not enough to fully tighten it. Is there any way I can fix it or do I need a whole new Power steering pump.

Does anyone have a cheap, but working power steering pump for sale?

not to whore the thread or anything, but I'm curious as to what you used for the spacer . . .

Might try and check out local junk yards for a PS pump

You could maybe try to rethread it, but I wouldn't.

You could go find a cheap one, but if it were me, I'd just buy a new one.

if a 1g pump would suffice i have one laying around
1g pump vs 2g pump may be totally different i have no idea

1G pumps are not the same as 2G pumps. Some jackass named ++++++ sent me a 1G pump and it didn't fit. He's not even taking it back, so don't do business with +++
