does a power steering pump have a gasket?

No. The fluid gets there through a banjo bolt and leaves through a rubber hose (if i remember right). But there is no gasket, there's nothing to seal there.

The return lines got two o rings on it only gaskets I know being there.

ok cool thank guys. umm does anyone know the specs on the two bolts that go there ### i am missing them? Size? Thread? you know that stuff

There are 3 o-rings on the top fitting: two outside the pump on the inlet under the banjo bolt fitting, and one on the opposite end of that inlet where it seats against the housing. You have to remove the inlet itself from the housing to get to the last one.

These are not just bolts, but a high pressure valve that lets the ps fluid pass through. Your best bet is probably to find a used pump if you are missing parts, and replace the o-rings with new ones from a hardware store. You might also try The DSM Graveyard, a supporting vendor here.

well i got all the stuff besides the bolts that hold it on the engine or whatever you call that. i got a new pump and pressure hose.

Alright i got all the bolts in now i cant find how the pressure hose hooks up? help of even pictures? I know how it hooks up to the pump but then where does it lead to?

Ya i think im missing a piece or something. is there a hose that comes off the rack and pinion that meets up to the pressure hose?

Yeah. I've noticed that my power steering is leaking like a B**CH! It's coming from the top power steering line. Is there an o ring under that banja bolt? cause if so that would definately be it.
