For the life of me, I can't seem to remember when this started, but my steering wheel doesn't return to center. It will try to return somewhat but stop with the wheels pointed in whichever direction it was last in. I want to say this happened when I first put on my 18's with 255 tires, but its still doing it now with 245's. The car is still a blast to drive, but a little assistance in centering would be great. Front inner and outer tie rods are new. Control arms and ball joints are new. Coilovers with 800lb springs up front. Was aligned 3 weeks ago and everything is in check. I run a smaller steering wheel and steering input is tough. Feels like a sports car, not a cheapy DSM, and there is no dead spot on center.
The only thing I can think of are the wider wheels and tires. Steering pump and rack is having a hard time keeping up???
