2G How to replace power steering return line?

Hey guys I have a leak in the rubber section of my power steering return line that attaches to the rack. My question is how do you replace it? When I went down to oriellys my friend who works there told me that it can be replaced with just a regular hose. But when I went to change it out there is a metal collar that is crimped onto the metal line that connects to the rack. Whats the best way of replacing the rubber section?
