I recently had a alternator go bad on and me and replaced it. After replacing it I was driving home from work and the car slowly died, the lights dimmed, the car barely ran and it died a block from my house where it was pushed home. The alt is literally 1 day old brand new, the battery is new but I'm going to pick it up from being charged after I'm done posting this. Looking around I found these two wires coming from the harness that goes to the alt. I have never noticed them before and I'm worried they were ripped out taking the old alt out. Here is a pic:

Does anybody know where or what these two go two ? Could this be the problem why I'm not holding charge ? They go into the bundle of the harness.
Please help ! Thanks.
Also I have a 6-bolt swap fyi.

. I have noticed my oil gauge not working so it's deffinitly them, the other wire must be my oil pressure switch, what exactly does this do and where does it go ? I can live without the dummy gauge because I'll be buying a oil pres. gauge soon anyway.
