Where is the easiet place to run my amp power wire in my 98 eclipse nt? Also can I run my power wire on one side of the center console and the signal wires on the other w/o interfierence. Considering I am running the power wire under the console where would be the best spot for a power wire from there w/o drilling a new hole?

best place to run the power is through the hole in the passenger floorboard for the wiring harness ( if its the same setup as the turbo model ). You should run the AV cables on driverside and the power on the passenger side to make it easiest. Reverse sides if the battery is on the driverside instead of the passenger side like on a turbo model.

Cut an X into the steering column boot with an Xacto knife (Or any sharp knife). There's two layers to cut through. Then push the wire through with a coat hanger. Try not to cut it too close to the steering column, though.

Yea he's rite the battery is on the pasenger side....av jacks can be ran on the other side..

In all the cars I have wired we just ran it from the battery through the fender on the outter side of the hood hinge and down the door sill to the backseat. I wil ltake a picture of it if i can on my 91 tsi...Its all pretty much the same on all the ones I have done with the exeption of the side of the battery. You will be able to see the cable when you open the passenger door but thats all only about 1 foot of cable.:thumb:

Nvm, I got it done today, I just went through the wiring harness hole on the passanger side. Thanks for the help.
