So i have a 98 GSX. I want to make about 300 to the wheels and currently all I have stock piled parts wise is
  • Evo 3 16g (genuine MHI)
  • VRSF Fmic
  • Walbro 400lph fuel pump
  • Innovate Wideband
  • Evo 9 injectors
I know I still need DSMlink and a Fuel Pressure regulator but I was wondering if there was anything else I needed or if I should be pretty set. I do have ARP headstuds installed as well as a newer headgasket installed along with Gates racing belts

You are on the right track. For reference I made 306 to the wheels on a dyno pack dyno with the following in my 99 GSX back in the day.
Stock 7-bolt engine with stock cams
1G Throttle body with Intake manifold ported to match
MHI B16G
VRSF Front Mount
Walbro 190lph
Denso 720cc injectors
ECMlink
RRE 2.5-3" Downpipe, no cat, and full 3" exhaust

A set of mild aftermarket cams would have helped my setup and will probably help yours as well.

alright sweet and thanks for the guidance! Do you think running a stock throttle and manifold would be alright?

I don't think it will matter a whole lot, especially if you are still running stock cams. But the 2G throttle body is 52mm diameter and the 1G is 60mm diameter so it is a pretty good low cost modification to do to the car. Here is a link to the RRE page with information on the swap.

you're right, yeah i'll totally look into it then!Thank you!
Don't forget a full exhaust and then maybe an upgrade clutch.
oh yeah, that'll probably be a good thing to not forget to do. Last thing I wanna do is finally be ready for the summer just to have to drop the trans and replace it XD
