I would like to know how fast people have gone by tuning with a logger and a SAFC. I would like to eventually get into the 12's and I am curious if anyone has done this by using these tunning devices. Or are more advanced tunning tools like dsm link really needed to go that fast in the 1/4.

Thanks,
Ben :thumb:

Wow, I wasnt aware that there we guys running that fast on this setup. I usually read profiles that have dsm links or vpc's when you get much faster than 13's. I guess I just missed the right ones.

Thanks,
Ben

I think 11.4 is the fastest on afc only as a tuning device. Im not sure if he had a AFPR.

Anything faster and you will need a vpc or standalone.

I ran 12.8 @ 108 on stock injectors, with a stock ECU, and no tuning devices whatsoever.

Not true at all. I believe Blaha went 10's on the stock 1g MAF, and lots and lots of cars do well with the 2g MAF and DSMLink.

MAFT also works well.

There are more options than just VPC or standalone.

Thats really good to know that the SAFC is capable of that now I just need to learn how to tune very well and I'll be set.
