I haven't seen my favorite yet. But I know that mine will be my favorite, I just need a CF Hood, shaved door handles, and a CF front lip...then its done (as far as exterior).
I like that almost stock blue one too...looks sweet, only thing I'm not crazy about are the rims.

Then I need an all black interior with red accents...drool

I think it's hilarious how this thread is coming out. I kinda figured that everyone would post the 97-99's with only the rims and lips really making a difference. Not a bad thing, just show's how great minds think alike the only major differences from each pic to each pic is the color and rims. Keep up the 97-99 Stock body postin! All heil the best looking body of any sport compact car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just always thought it was kinda weird how everyone thinks a car is so much greater with just rims to set the look aside from stock. It's like making a thread to say- post pics of a 2G with rims and a drop. Where are the all out show beasts? Somebody has to have pics of something sick as hell. Just b/c it has a kit doesn't mean it can't be badass. No offense, but I just get tired of seeing 50 pics of various colors of 2G eclipses with nothing but rims and performance mods when someone asks to see the best looking car. I'd say mine was nice, but it's auto and it has no turbo. It's only purpose is turning heads and trying to win trophies. I know there are some crazy 2G's. Somebody please present the pics.

Hey 9D9, its understandable that you think show cars are great, but most people on this site like clean cars. In my opinion, when I see a "show car", or in otherwords cars with lots of rice on them "sory to bring up rice" I just get pissed cause it seems like they ruined a perfectly good car, and most of the time give sport compacts a bad rep. Im sure being a show car guy, you can understand that ALOT of people do it very very tastelessly. Ive seen your car and Im very impressed on the work that was put into it and the quality. But, like i said before, most people on this site are performance oriented and a fast, clean car with wheels and a drop is more appealing than a 5 inch slammed eclipse with unpainted body kits, roof scoops, aluminum wings, graphics of dragons and what not running down the sides, and just all around tacky cars. Its just how it is, man.

I know what u mean. The typical half-assed "show car" does suck. I didn't say clean cars were bad. I respect performance just as much as the next guy. I just mean that it'd be cool to see some cars with the best of both worlds. Kind of like a change of scenery or something. It just kinda seems like the same car over and over again when the choice of rims are the only factor to differentiate an identity. But it's an opinionated post so I guess it's pretty much anything goes. Carry on.
