I was considering a vent for my c/f hood. Was it a pain to install? Did he seal the hood where he cut it out?

I wasnt there when he did it but basically you just use the vent as a template to cut, then rivet it on. I dont know if he sealed the hood. My hood looks like it has a bunch of RTV around the vent on the bottom of the hood.

It's called a divorced wastegate. The WG dump tube flows out of that hole.

BTW, who makes a CF hood for the 1Ga?

My wheels are 16x7 and I believe they are gunmetal. The Green Dot retreads on them are 225/50/16's.
