I purchased the car not running due to engine problems(fired balance shaft bearings) - after reinstalling the motor the trans acts rather odd. Here are the symptoms;
1 When first shifted into gear the transmission doesn't engage as quickly as it should
2 When the gear engages it is dramatic - tries to move the car and bogs down the motor.
It runs and drives fine - shifts into each gear well - only acts up while stopped.
Could it be the pump? Is there any way to check it without pulling the trans?
