Alright.
I just bought a Maf-t and a maf.
My friend said with maf combo, I can put my blow off valve anywhere
on the cold side of the intercooler.
I have a front mount greddy intercooler with upper and lower piping.
This sounds crazy, but would it work.
The intercooler is going to be placed on the exterior on
the pipe going across the top of the intercooler.
So it will blow at anyone in front of my car.
has anyone attempt this yet?

Another question, does the maf-t and maf go on the upper intercooler pipe.

You can either go with a Draw Through set-up (puts the GM Maf in the stock spot, and you need to have a BOV that recirculates) or you can go with a Blow Through set-up (puts the GM Maf in the Upper Intercooler Pipe, and now you can put the BOV anywhere before the MAF, you can also vent to atmosphere). So yes if you want to go with the Blow Through set up, you can mount your BOV on the pipeing next to the IC.

You could even put it on the elbow coming off your comp housing if you wanted to. Mine is mounted right above the IC on the outlet pipe.
