Been out of the game a while and recently picked up a stock 95 AWD Talon 5 speed. The guy I got the car from flips cars somewhat. He got the car from a guy who, for some reason, had pulled the driveshaft and transfer case and was basically driving it around somehow with just the front wheels pulling. Once I got it home, I noticed it had an auto rear diff (3.3XX ratio) so I put a 5 speed diff in along with a drive shaft and trasfer case from a 90 DSM. When I tried to drive it, it just felt like the rear and front gear ratios were different. The rear tires wanted to lose traction slightly on dirt moving at a moderate speed (~15 mph). Since then, I put a second diff from a 95 TSI along with another transfer case just to make sure this wasn't the problem, but sadly it still does the same thing. I drove it up to 25-30 mph on wet grass last night and the whole car was all over the place. Felt like all 4 tires were just trying to break traction on the wet grass when at a constant speed. When I went across asphault for a moment, I could hear the rear tires attempting to break traction. Just wondering if the center diff could be the problem somehow since the car was driven with no rear drive shaft (even though I would think it wouldn't move unless the center diff somehow locked up) or if maybe the trans was from a 97-99 (which has a different ratio from what I've found searching). Any input on this would greatly be apprectiated.

Where is the part number for the trans at on the trans? I just want to verify the year of the trans.[DOUBLEPOST=1414715835][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok, found the trans code "w5m332 upfe"
