possible boost leak and reason for car running like crap?

my exhaust manifold gasket is leaking around the whole corner near the power steering pump and above the 2nd stud in. the gasket is white so i know its leaking there...would that cause my turbo to not hit full boost until like 4 and run shitty in the higher r's?

Theoretically it could. Less gas going through the turbine side = less intake air being pumped out the compressor side.

Get a new gasket and fix that thing
