Hey again all,

I'm about to order a new turbo....is it worth the extra 95.00 to get it ported?

You could just port it yourself, but yes I think its worth doing to get those EGs out quicker and more nice cold air in.

A little more info would be beneficial... what turbo? I would say its worth it, unless your game for doing it yourself. That said, I would highly recommend doing it yourself. Generally, the $95 port job the manufacturer provides isn't as extensive as what could be done. If you do it yourself, you can port it as much as needed, and then you never know, you might want to keep going and port your manifold and O2 housing. :thumb:

any porting is good, research about porting, and then once you think you got how its done, by a dremel kit for that cost, and do it your self even better than they wouldve...
It will help with boost creep i believe.

It is worth it for sure, but do it yourself, it isn't a hard job and then you have the peace of mind knowing it is exactly what you want.

Its the T28 from Forced Performance. I ordered it yesterday and honestly I don't have the time to port myself (or the know-how honestly). For the extra 95.00, it doesn't seem to be a bad thing considering the feedback I've gotten. It's all good. Thanks for the input! :)
