Ok so theres a GVR-4 this is the add what do you guys think

New jdm cyclone motor with about 68,000 on it
water pump and timing belt and pulleys done at 53,000
Arp head studs,cometic headgasket
gmmaf translater
act 2600 clutch with fidanza flywheel,
maxis fmic,
dnp exhaust mani,
mhi 20g, wit no shalf play
trans has been redone with 8000 miles on rebuild and has a welded diff
battery relocated to the truck.
255 fuel pump re wired as well
30/20 boost gague
air fuel gague
has after market steering weel
much more
BAD:needs tuned need
an axle back exhaust
has a oil leak some were
boost leaks need to be fix

Now the owner also said the leak is from the injectors.It has 550cc injectors no way to tune a non eprom ecu do you think it worth buying.

It seems like a decent buy, try to talk him down from the price as much as possible. As for the 550s with no tune, you need something to tune with ASAP, make sure the A/F gauge is a wideband (will display A/F in numbers) before you try to tune.

Hay you think if i put a ported 14b and stock injectors do you think it will still need a tune?

you shouldnt need a tuner just off adding a walbro.
you said it has a afr gauge, narrow band or wideband?
if its on stock boost you shouldnt need a tuner cause the maf will see the additional volume of air from the 20g

and the translator is the tuner pretty much. you set idle afr, wot afr, cruise afr and injector size

It has 550 on it thats more dead time and he said it runs rich and don't know what kind of afr.

slap the 450cc back in and youll be ok on stock boost with that turbo. Do not up the boost until you have a gauge, and injectors, maf and a way to tune. Anything else, bring it to Gvr4.org

On some of the MAF translators you can tune it a little like an AFC. It can handle 550's fine and get you around until you get something better. With the injectors leaking, is it fuel or an air leak? Both are not good, the air leak is annoying, but the fuel leak is potentially deadly. Both can be fixed cheaply and easily with some new O rings and lower seals.
