is it worth it?

i have my 95 tsi with the original motor at 135000.It runs mint no complaints but i want more power out of it.As of now it has a 16g ,650s ,wb255 ,injen intake ,full 3in exhaust ,chipped ecu for launch control and tuned on safc.i have cams but everyone keeps telling me the motors not worth it so should i ditch this motor or otherwise.....let me know

thanks guys. To the guy thats also in highschool. I actually got the car for 3600. Its got 55k miles on it so its a crazy steal. the only thing is the under carriage got some rust and a lil bit of rot ### its been sitting for couple months in a garage. But he also included (other than the parts in the car already) Evo 9 brembo brakes (the whole hubs), Evo 9 rims, ETS FMIC, the stock turbo & stock headers with a tial wastgate

Um yeah that is one hell of steal. Mine has 149k on it been sitting for five years. I guess in a way I can get mine up and running for under 3600 but still you have a whole bunch of mods I am jealous

Your almost to the 60,000 mile mark check out your timing belt you might want to get a full timing job done if you don't know if it has ever been done and make sure you do it about ever 60,000 miles.

Hey, well im honestly new to DSMs....ever since i saw the fast and furious I wanted a 2gen. this is my second car. my first one was a 97 eclipse RS. with a auto tranny -.- my mom said i cant get one ### ill b street racing but i bought it from my dads buddy and he did the intake, full OBX exhaust,cams, & cam gears. for a 420a motor...it was fast. But im mad pumped to get this car working for the summer. I bet your doing the same

Dont worry. Its in the shop now. Its getting fresh oil, the brembo calipers (front 2) put on & one of the codes checked out. Once i get her to pass emissions & registered thats one of the top things on my list. next to the fuel pump & injectors. So the ones u posted are the most reliable? ### im gunna get those exact ones u posted

this thread got screwy... anyway, to both of you. def comp test and if you plan on running higher boost go ahead and put on a mls hg with arp head studs. new gaskets where necessary. dont even #### with safc, just get link and be done with it. 1000cc injectors for sure, they will idle fine w link. afpr,pump, good boost controller, lc1 wideband, etc etc... but i would def go ahead and pull the head, maybe have it decked and cleaned for good measure, throw the arps and new mls on there; good luck dudes!!
