What are everyones thoughts on how a ported 2g manifold (ported by Extreme Motorsports, Jessup md) vs. the FP race manifold? I am running the HTA63 V3 (internally gated). Is it is worth upgrading for this turbo setup?

it dont really consider them much of an upgrade to be honest, but the fp piece is a higher quality metal that wont crack like the factory unit will

so at the very least I consider the fp manifold a proper wear item replacement that is a higher quality that will last

a ported stock unit will most likely eventually crack like a stock unit would

My vote is for the Evo3. I've had this thing for 10 years and it still looks almost new. Half that life was spent inside a blanket, too. The e3 also has a divided collector which the FP doesn't, so you'll have better spool/flow down lower, as @Canadian_CD9A says.
FP is a good piece, but is better matched to more than a 51lb/min turbo.
