I recently put a ported 14b on my car as a temporary turbo, but am very surprised by the performance of it. My mods include: ported o2 housing, 3" turbo back exhaust, 850cc injectors, walboro 255, dsmlink, front mount, upgraded transmission/clutch, etc. On 19 psi on pump gas this turbo is flowing 37 lbs/min. From what i have read this number is extremely high for this turbo. I was planning on throwing in a garret gt28 that was on before which was flowing 39 lbs/min at 20 psi, but since the difference between the two turbos is quite minimal, i might just tune with the 14b. It would seem that with this setup on pump gas it is possible to hit over 300whp. What do you guys think? I can post a log up if you guys want to see it.

Is your maf calibrated? If not, that could be inaccurate. Alsso, it sounds like you have a good enough set up to run e85. I would suggest that route if you can.

I'm looking more and more into E85 every day. I just got a bonus at work, so im thinking maybe that money would be wisely spent getting an e85 tune. I just am not quite sure on the potential of the 14b. I would like to get over 300whp, but i think it would be attainable with my setup.

with a 14b it would be difficult. If you want to go internally gated I would suggest a 16, 18 or 20g. Fast spool and over 300hp potential. Also, go e85. I love not having knock!
