porsche lip on 1g? anyone know the guy that made it?

today I was looking up front lip options for us 1ga talon guys. I stumbled upon a thread in the dsmtalk forums for lip options. As soon as I opened up the thread there was a picture of a black 1ga with a lip said to be from an early Porsche. Does anyone know the guy that did this or the Porsche that the lip was from?

i have no idea so i shouldnt even bother to respond but in my opinion the car looks better with out that front lip. it makes the factory side skirts and rear bumper look like there missing something? if the car had more agressive side skirts than the front lip would look more at home. but just having the lip and nothing else doesnt look right

i do however think from a dead on straight comin at ya veiw the car would look mean. if you can duplicate that lip and have other body work planned too than you'd probably have somethin goin. but to just have that huge front lip on a 1G with nothin else just makes the side veiw look funny in my opinion

The only early Porsche's that were that square in the front end, were the 914's and 916's. there are a lot of repro front ends, but they may be pricer than you think.

I agree with the sides! maybe if someone made like an extended talon 3 piece side skirt that still looked factory, just a little longer? I just love the front view!

if its not from the 916, i'd say one from a 944 or even 928 would be a close fit from the start

I wish I could find lips pre-made for these cars.. like 1ga and 1gb. I love the look of lips on them.
