Poor Man's FMIC!

Well i'm on a super tight budget, I was wondering if the stock Side Mount was mounted in the front, like a FMIC would you notice any gains, I see some people are running 12's on stock side mounts, so I figured why would it not work as a front mount better.

Go to a junk yard and get the FMIC off of a Starion, then just make the pipes yourself.

This is what i got for my setup.

Intercooler core: 140 shipped 7 in by 26 in (xspower from ebay just like the pte small core)
Pipes: Racing Solutions Intercooler builder kit 45 (2 U bends, 2 90s, 2 45s), 3 in pipe for MAFT intake 15
Couplers: 17 per foot 4 ply silicone ( got 2 feet)
Clamps: t bolt 3 bucks a pop ( got 10 )
Flange: 1g flange 10 dollars ebay

TOTAL: 242
