I removed the honeycomb and the air flow silencer from my car a couple of months ago. I had an intercooler kit installed and went and picked it up yesterday. When I was driving it back, the car was idle poorly. Is this because I removed the honeycomb? If I buy a new MAS and install it, will it fix the problem?

It could be your missing honeycomb. I would put it back in if you have it or find one in the junk yard. Should be real cheap. If you have some kind of fuel control you can compensate for the missing honey comb

Yes, if you rewire it correctly. It's actually un upgrade from a 1g maf. It's also very possible that you are idling badly because of you missing honeycomb, mine is removed and I've had no problems but I know of other people that have. I think it's kinda hit and miss.
