I just got done with a big clutch, flywheel, axles, rear main seal, and suspension job. I put everything back together and get ready for a test drive. The first time I fire her up she quickly dies. I start it again and give it some gas, and this time it idles well. However, when I rev it up to 3 grand and more, when I let off the gas it will shake, sputter, and die again. I also noticed the boost gauge will go no higher than 0 psi when I rev it. I doubt it would be a boost leak since the only hose I disconnected was the air cleaner/ turbo inlet hose. I believe I checked all vacuum lines thoroughly also. There is some ghetto bov on my car as well that shouldn't be there with stock maf so I don't know if that would contribute. Please help and let me know what I missed or what other possibilities are.

There in lies your problem. Run a boost leak test and post back.
