poor man coilovers.

I posted before that the lowering sprinGS on my winter eclipse GS were like 2-inches on one side, then on the left side they sagged a lot to where the tire would scrape when hitting potholes (Because of me being the only person in the car put more stress on the left) Any ways...not that im poor but 699$$ into good coilovers isnt in my agenda. it is my winter car.

Bought some TEIN lowering springs 2-inch... Used them with bases off of these cheap coilvers...the bases are like .5 inches thick....so now i have a 1.5 inch drop with the coilover base unadjusted, so if the springs ever start to wear, ill just start to raise the coilover base.
Has anyone done this?? seems to work for me.
