Poor HS student build thread!

Minor update:

Well the build is still at a stand still. The talon is the daily driver, so I dont have any chance to tear shit apart. I sold the clean 1g I bought.

Just a bit of a new part list and a important turbo decision question!

I pieced together my 6AN tank to rail feed. With the new RCI 100 micron steel fuel filter. Powder coated stock fuel rail, with the 1200cc I have should put out with e85 :hellyeah:

Bought a used light weight flywheel to go with the clutch set up.

Okay now heres the serious question. I have 3 wonderful turbo options. Need opinions on which I should run. I have a PTE scm5031e, a td05h 20g, and the fp HTA68. Goal is 400 awhp, I have all the supporting mods, just dont know which to pick.

I really want to run the 20g. The 50 trim and hta68 kinda just fell into my lap, so now I have choices. Pretty sure the 50trim will reach my goal the easiest, what do you guys think?

Did you end up making a choice? I have followed this thread for awhile and there is nothing "poor" about your build.... Anytime the words "Tial" and "Forge" get put in there with the other pile of parts you have bumps it out of just poor HS kid. Anyone that has the money to just change FMIC completely, have 3 turbo's that can't choose also bumps you up a bracket or too :rocks:

I might be interested in one of the turbo's you don't choose (the HTA :pray: maybe)
 
Glad someone is still fallowing this. I wish I could move this to the build journels, maybe more would see it.

But yes I chose the HTA68. I sold the 50 trim and 20g.

But Im also making a Frankenstien turbo, my own little beast, just in case the hta doesnt perform how I hope.


Today Im hopefully going to have most of the suspension back together. Just waiting on my coilovers in the mail. Ill take picks while I go.
