After finishing installing a new engine i noticed the 93 manual i pulled the engine out of has a plug as seen in the below pic. it comes from a part that sits under where the intake pipe meets the intake. its got a white wrap around it as seen below.
the plug mounts under the intakes body.

On the car that i pulled the engine from the plug for the part comes out of the engine / injector harness. ( the plug im talking about has tape on it). the plug comes out on the harness to the right of the harness clamp that bolts to the intake.

And here is where the clamp is, and no wire/plug comes out of the harness for it on the car i put the engine into.

what is it? and is it a big deal if its not plugged in?
