Alright, I made a thread a long time ago about this car, and everyone was an immense amount of help.
Unfortunately the car is still running into problems so i thought id see if the helpful community of dsmtuners can help solve this problem.

Here are some problems that im currently trying to fix..

-First off, the radiator fans never kick in, and I dont believe if i have the tools to check if its good.
Apparently I need to buy a volt meter.

-The Alternator is possibly bad or just not connected, its hard to tell since I have a stray plug in that area. Now sometimes there is smoke in that area, and im a lil puzzled why it squeels when I just replaced the belts. Could it possibly be a bearing?

- Theres a leak, possibly a small oil leak.

So to illustrate what I mean, heres a small gallery of images
ImageShack -

So any clue where these plugs go?

Also if you look at the images you'll also notice a leak on the ground, possibly oil. Its towards the front of the car and it seems like its below the exhaust manifold area.

That leak looks like oil. If its not, I would be worried as no other fluid should ever get that dark. There is a chance its burnt brake fluid. Feel the fluid. oil will be very slick. Brake fluid on your skin will draw moisture out of your body and it will feel very wierd/unique (likely unlike anything you have ever felt).

I am new to DSM's so I can't help with the plugs. For testing the fan yes you need a multimeter (normal test lights are bad for modern cars if you don't know LOTS about electricity n such). One test you may be able to do is switch the fan relay with a different one (borrowed from another circuit if it is THE SAME RELAY - Relays usually have a part number printed on them). This will test if the relay is the problem. It's a start, and its one thing that could be fixed or ruled out.

sounds like you may have oil dripping into the altenator coil causing it not to spin, either way it sounds like the altenator is seized, probably a bearing
