there could be numerous reasons. probably ran too much boost.

..... you dont know what went wrong, its not your car, and you want to learn from his mistake....short of talking with the owner, you arent going to find out much, and i doubt you will find out anything from asking here, except a few people that will tell you about their experiences, not this guys...

Old old vid,

If I remeber right he was running a green or possibly another VERY large turbo on 100% stock 7 bolt. He was expecting it to go sometime. Not anything you have to "worry" about driving stock and sanely.
