Ok, i have read all the posts on crankwalk, and to be honest im not really that paranoid about the topic. However i read that one of the symptoms is hearing a "clicking" sound from your engine. I was wondering, when i turn my car on, i hear that clicking sound, but it stops after 30 seconds or so. I do have a second gen so i am just wondering if this is cause for concern, or if its just normal when warming up during cold weather.

P.S.- The sound is at idol, and i have not experienced any other symptoms of crankwalk.

Most likely you're hearing lifter tick on a cold start. This sound is normal and, although annoying, nothing to worry about.

what about this- 91 gsx w/94 k miles---cruising down the highway at , say, 2600 rpms ,touch the throttle and car stalls itself ,shakes like a mother####er, red light comes on then a second later it's as if nothing happened.

took car in for tune at 93,500 miles and problem stopped. Took car to tahoe ran fine came back and it started next day. Changed fuel filter, no luck.----only mod is filter housing is cut away on top and using a K&N. Dont want new car i like this one. Test drove a wrx and it sucked

well that definately doesn't sound like crankwalk. sounds like you have some sort of air/fuel or electrical problem.
