PLEASE HELP SAFC2 tuning questions?

ok so basically I just learned how to "tune" my eclipse with the SAFC2. I just wanted to know what is better once boost kicks in. Is it better to run stoich lean or a litte rich? I have 96 gsx, AEM wideband,18g greddy turbo, pipping and intercooler, stock 450 injectors, 3'' full exaust, stock fuel pump. Boost is set at 14psi.

Right now I have my SAFC settings set so my car runs between stoich and lean but not rich. My wideband shows that the car is running stoich on boost. Is it better if I run lean on boost? what makes the most power?

You want to run rich under a load. 10.5 to 11 is where you want to be.

You really need to learn more about tuning so you and your car will live long happy lives together, not being a prick but just lettin ya know. There are lots of guides on SAFC tuning around here and how stuff like that works

Cruising and part throttle should see 14.5-14.7 (O2 sensor wants stoich for the least emissions and best fuel milage)

Can't say for sure but I'd say more than 30% throttle - and WOT will see 10.7-11.2

It's imperitive you run rich at WOT so as not to melt things due to a lean condition. The added fuel cools the charge so you don't detonate

I have read few threads on the safc. the ones from road race and few other so Im not that green when it comes to the SAFC. Right now I just want my car to run good with the safc. I have a fresh 6bolt with 7 bolt pistons ready to drop in and I will be buying 600cc injectors with a 255 walbro fuel pump and rewire kit. Once I have all those parts I would like to get my eclipse tuned with dsmlink. Im expecting to see at least 280whp with all that. But for now I just want to get the most power out of my current set up with the safc.

With your setup and link, you should get a little over 300 or so whp depending on boost. 600cc injectors are good to around 350 or so. The 18g should get you around 600 cfm which is good for around 390 or so, again, depending on a few other things.

With link, you can control timing which can give you more power than just an SAFC as most of them cannot control timing. Since you are getting link, it would be good to get larger injectors than just 600 unless you are not going to want anymore than 350 to 400 hp. I would recommend 850 minimum and do not forget to get a AFPR with the 255.

For reference, my talon has a GReddy emanage (old blue one) and it has a small 16g and supporting mods and 880s and puts down 278 awhp and 312 awtq. You should have no problems with achieving that easily.
