questions about tuning/correction with safc2

OK i understand the basics of tuning and have read all of the guides possible. What I am lost on is when to set the points ( wk,2k,3k. etc.) You try to get 100% at idle and then you move to higher points like 2,3,3.5. with those set up to 4.5kish you use the number across to 7k. Then whatever number yo used for 4k-5k you use across the boards on Hi. When you are setting the higher points (on Lo) should you be parked and free rev to say set the point of 3k? Or should i be driving at 3k and setting it.

Basically what i am asking is, when i am setting points 2-4.5 should i free rev each point or drive at each point?

Drive around and just hold that rpm steady and watch your fuel trims and make the needed adjustments.

i would find a nice stretch of road and set your cruise control at a set rpm point for a while. Have a buddy with you to see where the trims are moving to, and go from there. You can free rev, but it doesnt account for engine load so it is a bad way to do it.

OK so just set the cruise on the highway at each rpm and adjust it from there.

as long as your throttle position is in sync with your rpms, and your under load.
