Hi, Maybe some of you have seen my build blog for the 1991 gsx my friend and I am building.
Here is a rundown of the build so far. Lots of stuff has been purchased but some stuff hasn't. Some of it is not important for this thread but the list is copied and pasted so bare with me. Car has 8pt cage, gutted with about 2750 weight. Will be lighter soon. Keep up on the build blog!
Hoping for 30+psi and the car will be run on 110 octane cam2 race fuel. We are really hoping for lower 10's in this thing but we would be happy with anything in the 10 second range honestly to start out with.
My real question is what size cams should we go with in this thing? Also other than the tranny and rear do you see any weak points in this set-up? They aren't in the budget this year but will be taken care of next year. Hopefully DSMlink also. We are going to push the tranny and rear as far as we can until then. Do you think our goals are achievable? Any input or advice?
