Hey Guys,

Long story short, I need help identifying if this wire is the correct wire from my OEM 97 CAS connector.

I know I am suppose to solder the white wire on my "6 Bolt Swap CAS Harness" to the blue wire from the "OEM CAS plug." The Problem is the previouse owner modified the harness in which ever way he saw fit. :nono: So the connector looks nothing like the picture posted below.

Here is the wire i found that i believe to be my OEM CAS wire. It was electrical tape to my harness.

Any help would be great as I am trying to start my car this week.

No that is not the cas wires. Can you get some more pics closer pics of the harness. Some thing looks out of place. Also take a pic of the drivers side where the cps sensor clips in you could have a 95-95 harness in the car.

As I mentioned in the PM (and Vince pointed out), that's not the CAS wire. That plug is the engine speed detection connector.

Have you always had a 1g CAS, or did you just switch over with the swap? Reason I ask is you have a white wire coming out of your 1g CAS plug and going int loom, which is the wire you're wanting to connect.

I'm an idiot.... after looking over my friends 96 gsx tonight, I found out that is not the wire. This is my first 6 bolt swap so i need to do a lot more research.

Thank you all. Brain you are more then welcome to close this thread.
