Here's my situation... my motor is getting built, i have all the parts there ready to be put in except for the rods. the problem i'm having is that the aftermarket rods are shorter than the OEM rods.

is there a difference in 90-91 and 92-94 rods? as far as i know there is a difference in 1g to 2g rods.

ok dont know if it makes a difference but the motor was bored out .010 and pistons are 8.5-1

please help I only drove my car for a day then i broke it (por que tengo manos de stomago) and its been 2 yrs

1992.5 - 99 connecting rods are the smaller "7-Bolt" versions which also have slightly different w.r.t. pin bore and pin end width than the "6-bolt" 1990 - 92 rods.

So if you ordered "1G Rods" you may have gotten 1992.5-1994 7-bolt rods
