please help i dont want to brake my motor

ok here is my problem i have a 90 talon that has alittle bluish smoke (i meen minoot) as i accelerate it get alittle worse and after i hit boost it gets bad. im alittle new to dsms
the car is pretty much stock i just bought it and these are the few things it has

mbc
rfl bov
boost gauge
a/f gauge

oh and supposable the pistons and rings were changed at 160k theres 200k on it now

check the turbo for shaft play in/out and up/down there should be very little to no play, also is the bov recirculated it should be if still running on stock maf.

you might have to pull the exhaust manifold off to rule out if its coming from the engine or the turbo.

to know if its the engine when you pull the manifold off look for oil in the exhaust runners, if its dry than it could be the turbo seals.

well i checked the turbo theres no shaft play and no oil at all coming threw the intake or exhaust side. wats the compression suppose to be cause i did a test and its 100psi in all 4 cylinders. wich someone told me i would have no power if that were true

WOW thats extremely low, i doubt they were even changed unless they over gaped them.

164 psi Standard

121 psi Service limit

14 psi Maximum difference between cylinders

are you sure the compression gauge is reading correctly, did you do a wet test to see if it improves the numbers, also might want to perform a leak down test to see were the compression is escaping to.

i would imagine it would still run with low compression but lack performance but ive never seen a car run on so low compression so im not positive.

When I first bought my car I had 120psi on all cylinders. Still ran good.

Welcome to the world/nightmare of DSMs. We all put up with it. Next time you're buying one of these cars, I'd suggest you take someone who knows them well enough to sift thru the seller's BS.

Crankwalk, cheap interiors, and constant break-downs are just to weed out the weak.

As mentioned before do a wet test to confirm that it is a cylinder problem.
