Here the Problem

First Off This Happen 3 Times Already in a month

The problem is while driving my car it starts losing power after a while it loses power to everything my lights dim (real bad) radio turns off and eventually the whole cars dies and wont start back up unless i push start it now the first time thought it was my battery change that nope not battery ok well the it the alternator also no but when i replace the belt it works fine well also so far when i took off the belt i noticed rubber shaving all over the alternator and after looking over the belt it real in bad shape the the riges are chip and some are bald i want to know what can make this happen what can be eating up my belt thxs ahead

The tension in your alternator belt is not set properly/tight enough. Adjust the bolt in the tensioner to draw the belt tighter.
