lm looking for a piston and rod set that i will be using on my 2.3 stroker with a 42r

i have the 6bolt already and the built head and the 42r on a full race mani

all i have left is to the is the rods and pistons that can be able to handle atleast 800hp....
good combo's for around 8 bills???

Eagle rods are rated to 600hp but people have used them in 800hp and up setups without specific rod failure unrelated to tune. If you have the cheese then carrillo billet rods are extremely durable. Pistons aren't really stronger one brand or the other. It seems hit or miss on piston quality. I personally am using Ross, but i wouldn't hesitate to use Je, weisco, or Cp pistons.

Good luck, post some vids when you get that thing running with the 42r, should be a bad bish.:rocks:

You can also check out Manley pro series I beam rods. Horsepower range for these rods is 1,000+ H.P.
