Pictures of wiring damage finally.

So I broke some rules. Sorry about that. Just going to repost pictures and some more.

Spent a whole day removing wire crimps and boy some these just reminds me of some meme like:

So I heard you like wire crimps, so I put a wire crimp in your wire crimp into some more wire crimp.

The wiring damage could have been worse, what amazes me is the car somehow still functions.

Just going to clean this up, change and upgrade some fluids, tidy up the engine bay, and alot of cleaning.

Shouldn't be too hard.

I had to go back and re-solder a bunch of wires this past weekend in my car. When I was new to this whole DSM thing, I used those wire tap things way to much. All soldered and heat shrinked now.

^ same here. i used called a buddy to do it cause i was terrible at soldering then i bugged him too much so he had to teach me all the little tricks on how to do it right. Now i have resoldered all of the electronics Ive ever messed with in my house s. good luck gho5tone

Flux is your friend when soldering. Flux/Rosin core wire won't cut it. Get some actual flux paste, use it on stuff you're soldering, then marvel at how much easier it is to solder.

Haha yeah, it could have been worse. I'm probably the 4th owner, so the previous owner might fix a bit of it because he was a former tuner.

Good luck man, I think this is a bit easier to do then to pull the whole harness out.

My wiring harness was in the same mess from the previous owner and I just replaced it. It ended up burning out my AEM EMS and had to get a new one. Ticked me off. Replace it if you can find another wiring harness. Good luck!

compared to wiring everything else is easy, just time consuming.

^Yeah, it's time consuming but it's great to work on something when you just want to get away from the busy life I hope to have all the wiring connection be done very soon so I can finally work on getting it start up.
