Pics of ISC apart

I took the ISC apart and a spring came out. Does anyone have a link that shows what on earth it is supposed to look like inside?

I did the coil tests and they were ok. I applied 6VDC as suggested and the motor didn't move...so I took it apart carefully and there is a spring laying there.

What is that about and where does it go? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

Ignore the 6g72 Engine code on the pictures, the 3/S used the same ISC as the DSM. P/N: MD628051
