Pic of blue Talon with the modified bumper?

I've seen it before, and thought I bookmarked it, but I guess not. Looking for a pic of the 2GB front bumper on a blue Talon that was modified to have a bigger opening. Was all fiberglassed to make it look OEM again, just a lot taller of a mouth on it. Looked great.

Yeah its 2 different bumpers molded together. The bumper lights are shaved, the emblem is shaved, the opening was boxed in using OEM bumper parts so it looks stock and not all hacked up. There is a considerable amount of money in the bumper but it was worth it.

That is one of the sweetest bumpers I have ever seen..Might even be the sweetest bumper I've ever seen..It's soo well crafted it looks aftermarket..But if your a dsmer you know the botton is 2gb talon..Genious idea..

What do you guys do about a bumper reinforcement on your cars when you cut them out to make these big mouth front ends? Without a reinforcement someone backing into you at 5 mph and this things totaled. I was looking at my 2g eclipse and just to open the top up a little I would have to plasma cut the crap out of the reinforcement and its not nearly as big as this one.

A lot of the guys on here just get rid of the bumper all together, then cut the bumper cover open. What we did on the GST is just cut a hole big enough for the front mount on the underside of the bumper itself, then shaved the back of the bumper cover so it wouldn't rub. That way it still has atleast some protection.

I was thinking of making my own reinforcement out of chromoly, bent up and away from the opening mounted to the front of the framerails. I dont know how legal or how much crash protection there would be but its better than nothing at all.
