I search but no similarities to what i want to do, I have applied my graphic
skills to modified my bumper; before i cut an mold, note these hole/s will be
vented to the Intake and engine using internal molds to direct the air and
chicken grill will cover them up to prevent anything from being suck inn
the question is which one should I go for?

enjoy my car LOL

You should buy talon headlights. They are shorter I believe. So there is room inbetween the top sides of the bumper and the headlights. run your air ducts there. It'll save the look a little bit....

Talon lights are not shorter themselves. The lights that would appear to be shorter are 2ga lights (95-96) on a 2gb (97-99). The lights that would appear longer would be 2gb lights on a 2ga

I think an evo style front would look very nice. Everyone is so stuck on the non ricer bandwagon that they are the new genre of racers hooked on the next fad. BTW, I have never once modified the exterior of either of my eclipses as they are both complete sleepers. I'd really like to see this done on a dsm. Nice job Henry.

Wings, stickers, and other autozone parts are tacky and serve no purpose. Keeping your car clean on the outside isn't a fad, it's part of our personalities.

What are you cooling anyways? Exhaust manifold? When you add significant amounts of pressurized air into areas that weren't designed to handel it, you might actually be hurting airflow. Pressurized air can reroute prexisting air passages..which would cause things to heatsoak.

Provided this did work, why would you want to? there are mods to remove sections of your headlight to dump air onto your filter, or you can cast your own CAI box with a head shield.

I don't know if I can't understand the way you worded it, but I think you've got it wrong. 2gb lights are "shorter" than 2ga lights. SO 2gb lights on a 2ga bumper leave a gap between the headlight and bumper. 2ga lights cannot fit with a 2gb bumper as far as I know...

You will not get that patent, since Ram-Air has already been invented. Sorry, dude.

I wouldn't do it for a ram air effect. But if it helped with my 220 degree coolant temps I'd be the first to try it:thumb:

And you can't patent it because RAM AIR is already a idea, yours is not original idea. Ideas must be be original to be patented.

Actually he can patent it. It would be a big waste of money tho =/ and it would probably be pending for years before it is actually patented. Almost EVERYTHING that is patented is a slight variation of something that has been invented or patented before it. :)

You'd be cutting a section of the bumper that would pass air over your radiator. Sorry, no dice.

There is a thread on here showing how some guy dropped his coolant temps drastically doing the same thing shown in these pictures. Maybe I can have 1 dice:confused:

If you also cut the metal shoud behind it...maybe dice? I dunno tho. I could see arguements going both ways. IMO, it'd be easier and prettier to do the 'street sign' mod and bring air from under the car.
