That bumper can't flex man! LOL

sure the bumper can flex. the bondo cant. but the rest can.

but looks good. specially for you first time. it would be nice to see a close up of the colors to see how well the colors match and to see how much orange peel you have (if any). thats were the real skill is. no orange peel = a bad ass painter. (or good wet sander) but i agree with the black mesh behind the holes but you know what, how is someone on the road going to tell if your smoking them. LOL well done.

Bondo is now part of the bumper. That thing can't flex or it's back to the drawing board.

oh ok i miss under stood you i though you were saying that it wasnt possible for it to flex not if it flex's its done for. yeah but thats a lesson he'll have to learn. next time use fiberglass. its a little more work but sticky and fun.

fiberglass will have the same outcome. If you bumper flexs around the fiberglassed spot it will start getting stress cracks around the glass and eventually crack loose from the bumper.

What you would wanna use on that is a plastic bumper repair. Somthing like Duramix 40/40 or 40/58. Its just like weling but with plastic. You can get sheets of Abs plastic at places like best buy. Just heat and bend the plastic then use the plastic weld to hold it in place. sand, primer, and paint. :thumb:

"Well tell me then, where would the best place for me to duct air besides the front of the car?
Half of my core was tucked behind the bumper that is now exposed to airflow. The whole object was to force more air into the core to try to lower air temps. Besides using methanol injection like some do.
You don't like the way I molded the fog light area? I remember years ago, I seen a 1g using tape to accomplish the same thing. I just thought this was a cleaner way to do it."

Cutting the front bumper and ducting are 2 different things. Ducting for the IC would involve building ducting inside the bumper to catch the air and stop it from flowing around the IC. Only so much air can physically flow through a core with it fully exposed air can more easily flow around instead of through the core. Ducting serves the purpose much better, that is why all OEM application have the plastic air ducts to guide the air. And like I said I liked the bumper better than your stock one, just not a fan of the holes.
