What are the 1g front bumpers made out of? Is it urethane or another kind of plastic? I'm going to be doing some repair work on it what would be the best product to repair some cracks and broken pieces? I'd like to maintain durability and strength and I do not want to go out and buy another bumper. Thanks in advance.

I'd say use a fiberglass kit then sand it down then use some bondo to smooth it out ... that what i used to repair a hole in my bumper. :thumb:

to answer your question, yes the frount bumper is urethane. as far as fixing it.. i can't help you. but my personal imput would be get another front bumper if your's is that messed up.. i mean they're cheap and very easy to find. if it matter any i have a 90 red eclipse frount bumper layin around it's not broken or anything, no holes. if you wanna go that route let me know you can take it cheap

Bumpers are flexy urethane, fiberglass is rigid. If it's in an area subject to bending, a glass repair will pop out.
Repair kits for urethane bumpers are available at any shop.
