by a quick Google search I am believing you mean an intake manifold spacer/heat shield. If that is the case, our engine uses a Hondata one. I'm pretty sure this one will work, but feel free to look around, i just did a quick Google for ya before i logged off of here.

the hondata one rite

phenolic spacer for a throttlebody sounds useless. keeping one inch a little cooler will have little affect. A manifold spacer would help at strip but for a DD your manifold still heats up but just a little slower.

TB spacers are useless, I can see the intake manifold one working, but like along the lines sledge said. I have a hondata one currently, mainly got it because I was changing my intake manifold gasket (thought i had a vacuum leak) and figured at the very least, its a reusable gasket.

@psx the one i got was just the thick looking gasket, didn't have the 2 metal sheets on each side, but looks roughly like that.

am i the only one that is confused as to why there are 5 ports on that gasket?...

these spacers were a big deal on the old carb motors. they actually did increase hp. not because of the heat, but because it allowed more air flow. not 100% on the whole theory behind it, but a lot of my dad's car friends all used them.

Since somebody brought it up: carbureted engines used spacers to increase plenum volume.
