Is there not already a 2g eclipse in the game??

And with the game coming out soon i'm sure they finished programming it like atleast 6 months ago...

No I don't think petitiononline has ever succesfully petitioned anything.

I signed ;) Mitsu was retarded for ever ditching this engine, and they wonder why they're in financial trouble now...

Nice idea with the petition--maybe it will make a difference.

And there is a reason why there are engineers. Do you really think any petition is going to bring back a motor that is on its way out? Mitsu is doing away w/ the motor completely in the Evolution and there is a reason for that. New technology. Roll w/ the changes people.

And if you dont have the money for an Evo, how are you gonna have any money for a new car w/ a 4g63 chief?

Maybe if they made another car(eclipse) with it, they could bring down the price on the evo. Or something for a little less. I was just saying that maybe there could be a cheaper alternative.
 
Just another thought, they just might be desperate enough, have you seen the comercials lately? 5500 cash back and 10 year/100k mile warranty. But, it is a long shot like you said.

Eh but look at the cars they are doing it with. They'd never do that w/ an Evo or anything else w/ a 4g63 motor in it. If they are gonna come back, its going to be w/ the MIVEC motor (which ill admit is a nice motor) and the 4g93.

With that said, im not going to sign the petition just for the fact that its time to move on. These motors will still be around for a little while, if you want one, buy one and put it in an eclipse or talon and call it a day. If not, go out and buy yourself some new technology.

HAHAHA, ya I could imagine them doing that with the evo, just from what i saw on the top gear video of the EVO, and it needing service so often.
 
Even though I love the 4g63t it is outdated. Time to have Mitsu move on to better things i.e. the 4cyl turbo /w MIVEC and GDI thats going to be in the Evo X.

Evo is a rally car that is sold in series,i dont think any other car comes witha 4 with 271 hp and awd, besides the Peugot 206 WRC and STi which is also the rally car type, thats why the price is high.
The eclipse is a teen car with some power upgrade, but with its somewhatsportywelfareperformancestiffsprings and its cheap ass 14b turbo+welfareinterior...with leather ripped off a rats ass, its a car that is around 18k, i think people can affor that if u dont spend ur cash on useless shit and u have a decent job cheif
 
I dont mean to put a downer in your party, BUT a petition for another basically eclipse with 4G63. And then you have the balls to say that those people who say this thread is stupid, that they are stupid? Did you ever check the prices on NEW Eclipse GSXs? Yes, for the 98 my sticker said 26-27 grand. Hmm 7 year inflation, I think that that puts it up to be, YES!!! the SAME PRICE AS A NEW EVO!!!!!!! HOLY MOLY!!!!!! You idiots, our cars are cheap cuz theyre USED. New they were expensive which is probably why they didnt sell well, except for the fact that many people NEVER new that eclipses came with AWD. The engine isnt dead.....yet. But it will be replaced with the EVO X's engine. Guess what? All these rally-bred turbo cars that we love? GONE!!!!! WRC rules now dictate that turbos are getting out of control. PLease drop this thread, all of us love our 4g63s. So stay with our dsms. Thank you for your time.
