p-ville,
hey guys, ive only had my car for 3 days ( haha) and i already want to do a 6 bolt swap, there are alot of really cheap parts cars taht i can get motors off of around here, but they all have like 200K +, so i i kno i could get one of these motors, and buy a top line rebuild kit, but thats all just oem stuff isnt it?. i was wondering iff there is a performance rbuild kit, with maybe some forged stuff, performance hg etc? or do i have to piece something like that together myself?

1200 bucks? i called a couple guys today i nthe local paper who are parting out 90-91 dsm's and i can get a running 6 bolt, complete turbo and everything for like 800 canadian. the problem is they all have like 200,000 kilometeres on there, or like 150,000 miles

I would go with any motor that is cheap, all motors i have found here in maine that are still running with a good turbo are 1200-2500(pending on milage). I was looking even for a 7 bolt for a spare and there even pricey too.

Oh by the way, keep an eye on grammar.:thumb:

As for the topline kit being OEM, I don't think its OEM quality. I wouldn't trust using a topline oil or water pump on a freshly rebuilt engine.
