perfect compression, timing perfect; car still doesnt turn on

Hey guys, just like the title says both timing and compression are perfect but the car still doesnt wanna turn on.

The shop where i took that car to says its an electrical problem.
I dropped off a new ECU, thinking thats most likely whats wrong but i could be that its something else.

Any other opinions as to what it can be?

What happens why you try and start?

Have you (or the shop) verified fuel and spark?

Before i handed it in to the shop, it would just sound like its about to turn on but it doesn't.

I checked for spark before and it didnt have. But i didnt have the necessary tools for a compression test. So i took it to them and they verified the timing, compression and obviously they checked for spark as well.

Fuel. I take in mind that there a shop and checked for that as well...but then again i could be wrong.

check the power transistor unit should be bolted to the intake mani near the fuel rail has a larger plug in similar to the MAF

checked that as well right after the car shut off..it was plugged on pretty tight.

i would also check the cold start sensor.......i have found that to be the problem in 3 1-g's so far here in town.

he being in Miami, FL wouldnt have that prob near as bad as say you and i (indiana). it can get pretty cold around here and that would effect us bad. after a few tries his car would or should finally fire up. it would run like crap until it was warmed up but would still start. i agree with above statement check the transistor. good luck man
