Ok, so at random times ill reach down to the passenger side floor carpet of my Eclipse and feel it soaking wet with what I assume is water. It's only wet on the floor like under my floor mat and not at all under the seat or on the drivers side. At first I thought it was only when I washed it or when it rained, like a hole in my splash shield area or something, but it just seems to be random times.
I don't think its my heater core because my heat works really really well in the car. I really don't know tho, anyone with any ideas please tell me cause I hate this!
thanks

I have had this happen to me as well. It just so happens I didn't tighten down the clamps enough when I changed my heater core hoses, caused it to spay back into the car when I ran her hard.

I would check that first, its a little hard to get back there. Removing the battery helped me out.

Like I said when I talked to you at school and on the phone, heater core issues. Which sucks. Because that means I'm going to be over at your house fixing it with you. But I hope we find something else.

usually when you have water in the passenger floor board it's only a couple of things, but you can pretty much narrow it down, since it does it at random times not only when it rains, you can eliminate the possiblility of a windshield seal or sun roof seal leaking, if the heater core is leaking or seeping you can check your coolant reservoir to see if it's low, most of the time you can smell coolant inside the car or see the front windshield fogging up due to excess water the fan is blowing/ you can also do a coolant pressure check to see if the pressure falls off it should hold for a couple of minutes and then drop off VERY slowly. like flying_eagle says if you have your ac working good, the evaporator drain might be clogged. jack the car up and you'll see a hose about 3/8" in size and blow compressed air thru it (or get a steel hanger and poke as fas as you can if you don't have an air compressor) and see if water comes out of it.
